New Paradigms to Moderate Panel of Silicon Valley Executives on Large-Small Company Alliance Strategies

Top Industry Alliance Executives to Discuss Unique Business Partnering Issues in ASAP Event

Los Gatos, CA September 4, 2007  New Paradigms Marketing Group's founder, John Soper, will lead a panel of top Silicon Valley alliance executives addressing the critical issues faced when major technology corporations ally with small companies. The panel, "Dating Supermodels: When Small Companies Partner with Global Giants" will be presented October 4th by the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professional (ASAP) and will be hosted by Cisco Systems at the San Jose headquarters.

"There are many critical issues facing companies when there are power misalignments and different strategic perspectives," said John Soper, moderator for the event. He added, "It is critical that the industry understand how to build compelling value from larger business networks and value chains in order to maintain its growth position. We hope to bring some heavy weight perspectives to these issues."

Members of the panel include representatives of global giants and small companies that pursue them, and will bring combined decades of experience to bear on the topic. Panelists are: Gamiel Gran, Vice President, Global Channels and Sales Operations, Cassatt; Kevin Ichhpurani, Global Vice President, Business Development, SAP; Richard Tywoniak, Senior Manager, Partner Programs, Cisco Systems ; and Manoj Fernando, Co-Founder, EVP of Business Development, LiteScape Technologies.
