About the CA-A
M Workshop:
Enhance your alliance management skills and advance your career through an experiential learning
and skills mastery workshop to help partner professionals prepare for the CA-AM examination. The CA
-AM examination doesn't just test for knowledge. It also tests the ability to apply best practices and
principles to alliance management situations and to choose the best course of action in solving a
difficult situation, in other words, the skills it takes to do the job. This full day workshop will focus on
team problem solving within the context of case study scenarios, simulating the situations alliance
managers face everyday and challenging participants to apply what they know. You will also receive
many tools and references to help you prepare for the exam and to aid you in applying alliance
management best practices to your work.
How you will experience:
- Inventory your skills and identify gaps
- Review a common vocabulary in alliance management practices
- Exercise the application of skills and knowledge of alliance management
- Participate in collaborative, team, problem solving exercises (just like real life)
- Take away tools and best practices in alliance management
- Take the competencies self assessment (xls) to evaluate your skill level and readiness to take

Principal of Phoenix Consulting, has 25 years experience in building,

Professionals (ASAP), Norma as been leading a team of renown experts in alliance management in
developing the ASAP CA-AM examination and certification program.
John Soper,
Founder and Principal of New Paradigms Marketing Group, has built a career on
developing and implementing business alliance strategies. Key clients include Siemens, SGI, Sun
