How We Helped:

  • Following our tradition of working with companies developing markets for cutting edge technology (SMP, Linux, Java, early Unix), we were delighted with the challenge we found at Siemens Pyramid Technology division. They needed to promote more software solutions that leveraged their hardware architecture strengths. We helped them develop the positioning and marketing programs for OLAP as one such key application area. With our help they were able to promote and develop important new leads for OLAP to drive systems sales.
  • Siemens also recognized the diversity of our skills and asked us to help them them with technical financial issues related to to capitalization and depreciation of software. Blending our technology, marketing and financial skills, we evaluated the the situation and modified both their marketing plans and depreciation schedule in preparation for audits.
